Hi!

After trying it a bit I'm still not sure how to use a binocular properly. Is it sufficient to have in a Mercs Inventory or does he need it in his main hand (curser becomes "?")? If this is the case do I have to let him "watch" by using the "L" hotkey or is he doing it automatically?

Another issue is the attachable maglight. Do my Merc with it has any advantages when using it during Night Ops? Does the enemy spot him easier (like standing next to a break light)?

Thx =)

Location: in a van, down by the riv...
Put the binoculars in your merc's main hand to use them. You shouldn't have to use the 'l' key. Check his vision by holding down the 'ins' key (for line of sight)...or was it the 'del' key? One displays LOS the other displays cover, can't remember which right now.

Because of a limitation of the game engine, flashlight attachments do not reveal your mercs to enemies. You can use them safely at night.

After checking the keyboard, it's end (field of view) and delete (cover) above the arrow-pad.
There was also a zoom in-out function, so that more tiles are coloured,
haha, now I'm not sure about which key that was. (? +/- 2x or z/x)

Oh thanks, that makes my day.
I've not used them ... chanching that the enemy might be blinded (or not).
