Hey guys.
On a whim I felt like playing some JA for old times sake, so I reinstalled it and the UC mod and was having a blast until I ran into an odd bug...
After clearing out Atremo, I moved on to Calisto. After clearing out C13 I took the time to heal, recruit Tex, and redistribute gear amongst my mercs. I then moved into B13 but upon placing everyone on the map, I notice squad 1 has an open slot. Thats pretty odd I think, as I had 6 mercs so it should be full. A glance at the map screen shows 6 people on the roster, but only 5 appear on the tactical map- my IMP is missing.
An odd bug I thought, so I reloaded a saved game, and sure enough my IMP is missing there too. Shows up on the roster/map screen, but not ingame.
Now Im early enough in the game that it isnt that big of a deal to start over but I wonder if anyone else had run into this problem? I searched the forum but didnt see anything relevant mentioned. A fix would be nice, but Im curious if this had happened to anyone else?

no.
And I tried reassigning him to squad 2 just to check-
On the map screen he is showing as squad 2 and on the tactical map squad 2 is selectable as if someone was assigned to it, however all 6 slots are empty
