After fiddeling around with 1.13 i went back to 1.12 yesterday.
Dont get me wrong i do like the sound of the changes made in the 1.13 mod and the nicer resolutions, but i get killed time and time again, cant seem to kill anything and the sheer options of the mod seem to swamp me, 
i remember some1 gave advice to complete vanila before going to 1.13 to me or another new poster and that is just what im gonna do.
Is the ai realy that more harder then 1.12, cause even at novice i get shot often.
Tried sneaky NO ops, goes well till they see me, then it goes sour and daytime is even worse for me.
1 thing i noticed being a coward/retreating player pays of in this game. Maybe that is my problem, want to be the hero all the time. ah well back to vanila and seee how it goes.

Take your time. 1.13 is JA2 on steroids. work your gameplay up from 1.12 novice to expert, get familiar with your favorite mercs, and learn the way the game works. then in the meantime keep in touch with the forum so you can be familiar with the new developments as they come along. also why not try some of the mods available for 1.12? there are quite a few. have fun!
