For sure Numb, for his attitude, Shadow well can be but doesn`t have to, No russians we don`t work with traitors!Raven - that`s obvious, Spider (heal me baby), and Gastone our casanova who can`t swim.

Yeah, Wolf is in almost every game of me at some point too, he really feels realistic. Can't say he's my favorite merc, but he for sure is the one I hired the most.

I always get Raiden and Raven no matter what. Raider is a great overall CQC fighter and Raven provides fire support. The SWAT armor is pretty damn good at the start too.

My favourite mercenary has quickly become Meltdown. "Hey attentionspan!"
Before that I was a big fan of the "Vice President of wrecking stuff" Maddog and his laughing as he gets shot. I guess I still am.
Gotta say I like Shank too. His stats rise so fast it's not a problem.

I'm a big fan of Malice (funny), Meltdown (funny/crazy), and Trevor (just a cool, laid-back guy with great stats). For the more professional types, I like Raven, Magic, and Shadow. I can't stand Stephen just because of his incredibly annoying voice. I don't like Ice in JA2, either, because his voice is different from JA1. I always use him in JA1, though.
Speaking of JA1 (or JA2UB), Tex! Tex is hilarious, and in UB, he's actually good, too.

Grizzly- "That was close- I don't plan on missing". Deadly on a budget, plenty of strength to carry his weapons of mass destruction, plus he is just cool.

My top five, in no particular order:
1. Scully. He's not an ass, he's all around very skilled and he can use the katana effectively, which can be humorous if planned well. He was my team leader in JA/DG. Psycho from Crysis reminded me of him greatly.
2. Len. He starts out as a good teacher, and he just gets better. Also, he's extremely cost efficient and starting at level 7 is a boost in the interrupts district. I also appreciate his attitude, even though everybody should be "sir"-ing him.
3. Fox. Where would we be without her? Fox is for sure my favorite female mercenary, and she was the first merc I ever used to kill Mike because she's just that good.
4. Barry. Talk about multi-talented... he can shoot, he can take care of traps, and he can repair all very well. Maybe not as great in combat as some others, but some of his comments delivered at the right time in combat can make me laugh.
5. Spike. No, he's not in JA2, which really makes me sad. But in his time, he was one of the best ever, even with his low agility.
It's mostly the personalities that get me for these people.
