Does anyone know how to get higher than 800x600 into a STI file. I can't for the life of me remember how to do it!

STI-Edit just crashes as well as the experimental Project 1 version of STI-Edit. Is there something else that can cope?

Doh just found out how to use GRV 0.23beta properly! Easy once you know how Wink

Even found out how to make the 16bpp single image versions Very Happy

JA2 Really doesn't like the 16bpp versions though! Gonna stick the to paletted 8bpp versions for the moment Smile

If the game expects a paletted image(i.e. blitter function is hardcoded to a 8BppTo16Bpp blitter) then without changing the code you pretty much doesn't have another choice.

Right. GRV is the only way to use the 1024 stuff. Smile

It's really funny that I have been farting about trying to get STI-Edit to work with these large images for years, yet I never realised GRV could edit them. I thought it was only a image viewer Surprised

Oh and I found out the Viewer Program for Wizardry 8 SLF files is an excellent tool too Very Happy
Even shows any STI images (multi page too) and plays wav files etc...
