Hi, this is my first post here. I've been trying to change the firing sounds, and all I managed to achieve was silencing the weapons. I hacked Sounds.slf with some Russian SLF editor to include my wav file as firing sounds for single 5.56 and 7.62 NATO\WP. This has silenced the sounds, so I restored my original Sounds.slf. The sounds work fine, obviously, but are not modded. I made sure that the sampling frequency and bitrate are the same for both my files and the original ones.

My question:
How can I make a WAV file compatible with JA2?

Thanks in advance.

You edit in Sound Recorder. Path below

Programmes. Accessories. Entertainment. Sound Recorder.

Make copy of required files. Edit. Check they work. Put in folder in data called sounds. Check it works in game. Done.
