Hello, I am playing JA1 on the first day. I conquered sector 59 and sector 50, and I got a outstanding rating. However, I cannot find the micro purifier. It is now Day 2. can somebody help me?

It should be dropped off an enemy in either Sectors 59 or 50, with a very small possibility it could be in 58. It might have dropped and you didn't see it. Also, any items that drop while someone is wading in water are lost forever.

The walkthrough at GameFaqs claims it will always be in your first sector, but that might only be if your first sector is 50 Smile

My first attempt at a JA1 game I missed it on day 1 too, because I didn't carefully loot every dead enemy and all of the crates / boxes.

I read the walkthrough, realized I'd screwed up, then replayed day 1 to do it right. I was surprised when I brought the purifier back to the home sector because there is no message about it right away. You'll get a message about it (and $1K cash) during your end-of-day evaluation.

Also, there is loot in your home sector too -- do a building by building search to find all of the loot.

Don't forget to send out tappers and more guards at the start of day 2.
