i couldn't find the topics about mapo editor, but i'm sure i had seen those somewhere here and search didn't help

anyway, i followed all the steps in "getting started" in the editor guide in pdf, but several, if not all, maps fail to load. so far i could only open N6, loading any other one randomly causes CTD

i remember i also opened p3 (meduna palace) but now even that one fails to load

i have already tried to replace both the unpacked DATs and SLF files from the original JA2 folder but i still have this problem

Which version are you using? Do you have maps extracted into a folder in you data folder called maps?

What do you use to start the editor with (.bat or .exe)?

i'm using the one that comes with HAM 3.5 package

yes

i use a shortcut to editor's exe and add -EDITAUTO as parameter as stated in that pdf, but i tried also without that makes ctd just when starts since it tries to load omerta automatically

wow now the game ctd whenever i load or start new game, seems maps had been screwed up but i already replaced them with the one extracted from the original slf, i'll just wait for ham 3.6 and reinstall

I've been tinkering with the map editor for a while now, and for me all works fine (Map Editor rev. no. 1185). That is to say, at least until i tried to edit map sector H13 (where you'll find Conrad). The editor just crasches when i try to load that map. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
