So I was autoresolving a militia versus troopers battle, and decided to hit one of the fast forward buttons. Usually, like clockwork, 20 blue militia versus 16 redshirts leads to 1 or 2 dead militia, but this time I lost 6. So, does speeding up the simulation actually make them fight more recklessly in order to get the battle over and done with, or is it just hurrying the simulation? I didn't check the elapsed time, which usually ends up being a little over 2 and a half minutes, but it seemed wierd since there were no elites in the mix.
