I just can't seem to take down that factory building, and it's making me save/reload over and over even though I was trying to be honest and play an Iron Man game. Even the redshirts seem to be crack shots in that zone, regularly popping Reaper from the ground, and those guys in the crate room just have each other covered too well. So, should I just go clear more sectors and come back with a whole firing squad and blow the whole south wall with dynamite?

factory sector i s the one with druggist's bar, right?, why not use VSS to take down those around the ACA building fast, then hole up there? when they stop investigating ACA it mean they are down to half strength. Then you can attack....

And the whole thing happen in the night, of course.

In the daylight, and Iron Man, you are screwed. Grumm is most elite-heavy of all the towns outside of the capital. Attack straight on is asking for annihilation.

You could use mortar and long range sniper to bull through, of course, but it's still dangerous. In the rooms you could flood the area with teargas and mustard then grenades the whole room.

Not sure what VSS is, and I haven't encountered any teargas or mustard gas drops or sales yet, let alone mortars. The best I've seen is 40mm stun grenades, but no launcher lol. Ugh, I keep save/reloading. Had Stephen and Ice heading down to take out the ACA building, they failed to take out the elite there from the bar rooftop, so I brought in some reinforcements and were going to have them climb up the ACA building and *boom* there he is. Dead IMP, reload. I hate to develop the habit, especially after I set the game up on Iron Man, but wow. I'm tempted to just grab the Spectra and C-18 then go work on the Cambria area.

Not sure what VSS is

VSS Vintorez, a silenced 9x39mm rifle. It's awesome for night missions.

I assume that's in 1.13. I'm only using the basic game, 1.10.

MASSIVE SPOILER WARNING.

camo your stealthiest merc. cut hole in fence and get onto roof of the big crate filled factory building. stealthily drop down by the small door and plug the first ugly there, nip round the open door, back onto roof next turn. rinse and repeat until ugly one & two are dead. then creep in along the back wall until you are level with the first crates. advance towards the crates but don't overexpose yourself. once at the crates play gopher with uglies three four & five. then sneak into the factory part to your right. sneak along behind the conveyor. plug n gopher uglies six & seven as and when. you should now be at the far end of the factory part. sneak back toward the top end of crate room. there will be two or three uglies still waiting. it's corner fire back behind corner time. also good to get second stealthiest to attack from the topmost big shutter door at this stage also ducking back each time. even this strategy is fraught with danger and one false move can mean a rocket round in the head or similar. Gas or smoke of any kind is VERY useful for this sector. I tend to hoard mustard gas for just this map and G2.

Thanks for the help. Not sure if I'll go use that right away or wait until I forget it to go back, but I'll definitely be doing the cities in a different order next time so I can have some gas and masks for Grumm.

@Saibot: Use smoke grenades inside the building to prevent enemies from shooting you as you walk in through the door.
