. . . is it being the enemy's turn as we land in Omerta on day one - and they kill all of us before we can even get a shot off.

My favorite Insane mode moment is restarting my game on Expert before I hurl my notebook through a wall.

...Cambria G8. Killed all but 1 tango's. Moving forward with one spotter and 2 short range snipers at night. Getting surprised by the reinforcements that appear behind the squad about 2 squares away as reinforcements and all 3 being gunned down...

Sending a lone IMP in the country with the hopes of survival...that's kinda priceless...
The only problems are getting to Drassen, liberating it and defending it 'till the shipment from bobby ray arrives...

Speaking about insane, does anyone know if the skills progression is changed? On expert, I used to get agility and dexterity from punching enemies (I prefer real enemies, not cows) and from throwing knives. I started playing on insane a couple of days ago and so far haven't increased neither of my physical stats. Is there anything?

Favorite moment so far: took Ira and headed to Chitzena. Cleared the mine sector only and got an AK and two sniper rifles (enemies do not drop all items).

My current favourite moment was sending my maxed out IMP(100 everything - reached after replaying the game *enough* times-including the UB,UC and RR mods) alone and taking out a squad of 15 red shirts somewhere near San Mona. Was really quite the fight, the run and hide, the game of cat and mouse but they all fell down...however I had to use my only health regenerator I had because the IMP got shot somewhere near the end.

Another cool moment was during an attempt to reach the queen in Meduna, while sneaking in the grass maze at night.Almost did it, but reinforcements from nearby sectors came in and screwed the thing up.

Tossing a grenade blindly into the darkness after getting a message, and hearing the enemy grunt. End turn, planning to run up next turn and punch him to death if he's prone, only to have another enemy's grenade land two squares from my IMP, knocking him over near death.

If that wasn't enough, the enemy grenadier threw another one the next round that splattered my fellow nicely.

Defending Drassen from the counter-attack. I chose to be a little smart and took over the Drassen Mine first to get cash to train Militia with my IMP Mercs and Miguel. Didn't take long for the army to show up.

Basically I had everyone camp on the rooftop of the public toilets in the middle of the sectorand snipe everything unfriendly. At the end of the battle more or less all 40 militia I had in that sector and the one adjacent to it were wiped out and almost every one of my Mercs (5 IMPs and all the Omerta rebels) were in pretty bad condition after having been shot several times.

All I can say is that I was heavily reliant on mortar fire (until I ran out of shells), .50 cal (excluding the enemies that managed to climb up onto the roof) and headshots. And reloads as well (as it took me several attempts to get through the battle without losing anyone).

for the first time i lost in 48H two city and two SAMS sites (bring a cinematic i haven't seen before).
the funniest is that i lost CAMBRIA witch was under the pressure of crepitus and hardly defendable by Grizzly,Fidel and Igor since 2 week (loyalty 0 %). those Bugs are killing black shirt for now.

when they take the central sam i didn't see them comming (headrock add-on) and Skyrider was over TIXA and Hamous died during the crash.

during the same 48H my secondary squad have been ambush by heavily armored army (LAW) and defeat in ESTONI ( where SKY was planning an evac and optionnaly refuel).
i ... in my pants

My favorite insane moment is hovering over the option with my mouse to play an insane game before quickly switching to expert instead.
