IMP Starting Gear:

Use the XML-Editor and the respective section (under "Inventories", I think). You can also change that by hand with the respective XML file (IMPStartinGear)

IMP stats and traits:

With the test gone, it can be done easyly while creating the IMP. In case you are lacking points for all the skills you wish to grant him, raise the number of points in the INI.

Chaning an IMP during campaign:

The best way would be to fire or kill the current IMP and create an identical new one with the desired stats or gear.

Why not? It's a 'legal' combination of traits, there's nothing that prevents you from choosing them.

this question has been answered a gazillon of time by now, btw

you may want to try reading more than the last page of a thread sometimes

just for you (and for the 2437th time): c18/20 repairs vests etc - to strengthen them you need small red and green 'suitcases' - to be found in maps and on sale at br's and keith's
