Has anyone tried making an enemygunchoices.xml that would include most of the guns in the game? In a balanced way, of course.

As long as Starwalker has kept up (and he should as he also is the main person adding guns), the stock v1.13 XML's should have most of the guns in game as enemy gun choices.

That's why I saw a need to develop XML's that cut enemy gun choices down to a theme. I'll be starting work on Alrulco Folding Stock, and its Prime Vendor based submods, in another week once the next patch is out for UC-1.13.

I did not add the guns that are more advanced to the enemy gun choices.

And I have retired from the 1.13-team a few weeks ago.

Well I had been holding off announcing your retirement in hopes that you would reconsider. I am still hoping. Wink

The situation has not changed, so I will not come back.
And most people are not even aware of the BS in there.

Maybe there /really/ is someone out there who can get all the data needed to make the BS work properly. But it is not me...

I understand completely. And I seriously doubt that anyone will fill the role. I don't think people realize just how much time and effort and thought you put into 1.13. I always felt comfortable knowing you were handeling all the xml work and trying to keep things as balanced as possible. Well, I just want you to know that all your work was appriciated and I hope down the road that you might come back and have another go at it. Wink

Partly Wink I was offered the job.

Back in 2005, when I found 1.13 and that there was a new revision planned, I contacted Mad Muggsy and Kaiden and asked them to correct a few guns. Basically, they told me: "You know more about guns than we do, so how about /you/ take care of the guns, then we have more time to devote to the code?"
And I said: "yes"

No worries Starwalker, looks like you are going to stay on the Pit, just not work on the XMLs, did I get this right?

And Logi, I don't know, I have a more extreme view on things which people may not like. For example I feel guns with less range should do more damage, kind of like Demise of Man does it, but they have an armor penetration value in the XML, not sure if 1.13 has it. (I vote we should merge some of the DOM code into 1.13 :giggle: laser rays...)
