Balime sells alot of good stuff. The pharmacy guy for boosters and healing stims. The electronics dude for ear extenders and nvgs plus he sells some armor too. The general store dude sells toolkits and ammo and most important, batteries for the x-ray device.

Throw rocks with rubber band??? How the hell do you do that?? I tried to use that to "knock" on the door, but it wouldn't work. Either I'm too stupid to figure it out, or someone is having a really good laugh at my expence... And what about the Video Camera, does that have a purpose in the game???

Yes there yanking your chain about the rubber band and rock. I fell for that myself wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back in the days of yore. Anyway rubberband is quite useless. It was a leftover that was suppose to be used somehow,but never deleted from the game before it was released.

The video camera is for the scientist when he builds you the robot. He will ask you to bring it to him, plus a gun and he will give you the robot.

Don't get bent out of shape rounding up any accessories for the weapon. The scientist will only accept the weapon, no add-ons. I usually give a Steyr Aug by the time I find him and the robot seems to do OK with that.

They didn't have it when I was there, but they had it when I went back... Now I got the Xray detector!! Works great, easy job to take out Orta Basement with it!!

I've got this "information" on Patusco's JA2 Guide, so don't look at me :innocent:

Also, although many JA2 guides say, it's not possible to merge TNT with Platinum Watch and Duct Tape to get TNT with timed fuse... Sad
