Question - how do I play the Wildfire maps with v4452? I would use AIMNAS, but I would really like to try out NCTH. Is the WF6.06 mod compatible?

Thanks!

no since all values for aimnas guns ect won't work correctly with ncth

i tried to just replace maps and tilesets but some tiles are screwed up

i don't think they will update all aimnas to ncth due to the huge amount of guns so i think i'll just keep "regular" aimnas for a while since latest 1.13 is quite buggy

After some tweaking, I figured it out. Just copy the maps, tilesets and ja2set.dat from the wildfire 6.06 mod to the ja2 1.13 folder. Works!

Edit:
Oh, and do not overwrite smguns.sti, smp1items.sti, smp2items.sti and smp3items.sti. Make backups before modifying.

I'm having the same problems as Luppolo: I'm moving WF 6.06 maps, tilesets, radarmaps, and npcdata folders over to the JA 1.13 folder but am getting garbled maps as a result. Something isn't right here. Ran, can you explain in detail how you successfully performed this?

From the WF 6.06 data folder:
Transfer the following files into the Data-1.13:

\Binary\Ja2set.dat - BTW this is the reason you are having clotheslines for grass Very Happy
\Tilesets
\NPCdata
\Radarmaps
\Maps

It isn't perfect, but its playable.

Yes, I played an entire campaign using the WF 6.06 maps. A few wrong sprites (for instance ceiling vents instead of rooftop sandbags) but nothing too bad.

There was a problem with mine foremen only sometimes appearing. (Had to wait a few days and keep trying until they appeared.)
