I'm tired of the unoccupied prison in Alma. I've been wondering if it's possible to lock and unlock the cell doors as I choose. I've spawned a few civilians in the cells and I planned to keep Conrad there as a POW. I don't want to pay the fee for him to join, but I'd rather not just execute him or let him go either. So with regard to locks, can it be done? And is it possible to keep Conrad and similar NPC's from leaving there without paying him as a regular merc?

Haha quite bored. Actually, I was experimenting with cheats, and I found some rather amusing and useful ones. Teleport for one, to save time on pointless treks across friendly territory. Then just for fun, I gave one character a LAW, spawned a bunch of enemy soldiers and an alien at the end of a corridor, and while they were duking it out, I fire it and destroyed or incinerated everything, including the walls and stuff. It was pretty cool.
EDIT: Is it possible at least to change the amount you pay mercs? It wouldn't even be so bad having Conrad join if I'd negotiated the price down. Too late now, and there's no way I'm paying 5000 something a day for a merc with average stats like that.
