 The Alma docks icon on world map says it allows for the shipping of large industrial wares.
Does any one have an idea what that is supposed to mean ?

 Similar question: Alma Barracks - it says something like "helps promoting military staff". Does this have any impact on the game/player?

 barracks in my game say that militia levels faster ,haven't noticed it yet but that can be due the the fact I recently took those sectors.

From what I notice, the alma barracks just make militia level up faster, or maybe enabling them to level up. I never seen militia leveling up before taking the barracks.

The docks merely give you an income, I found no other use of it.
