One thing that cracked me up is when you're contacting Cynthia "Fox" Guzzman, and wait until she talks about her looks and talking about taking care of herself and "taking care" of others. After that, she says "You're not wearing pants, are you?" Too funny.

 Just got a funny combo:

Heavy suppression fire on IMP, Buzz, and Monk (WF).

IMP: 'Wonder how many lives I got left after that.."
Buzz: "You call that close?"
Monk: "Was very close"

I was really smiling at this, certainly as my IMP is a show-off and is always teamed with buzz for firepower. He wants to show off, she thinks he is complaining and a few tiles down Monk says to her that he is right. Haha.

In the German version he says "Macht nichts, weiter geht's", what means something like "don't care about it, let's keep going". I think that way his "it doesn't matter" makes sense: yes, it does matter in terms of gameplay, but "please don't start a party because of me, we have more urgent stuff to do".

I always thought he means that he's already the best merc around, so it doesn't matter if he gets any better. That'd be in line with "I looove myself", which he says after successfully picking locks etc.

My favorite quote from Maddog is definitely "Did it hurt, moron?". Asking things like that from people you just killed... :devilaugh:

 One of the 1.13 AIM mercs say "Acho! Enemy! Fuckin' kill them all!" when you're about to enter a sector.





Also, another not-so-funny but interesting quote from Lynx when he blows a head, he says something like this: "I used to make jokes about this kind of thing, but I've seen way too many friends die that way, it's not funny anymore."


Makes you go from "Very Happy" for blowing a head to ":/"

 Over the years i have laughed a lot at some quotes, especially hearing them for the first time. And then, sometimes, you hear the right quote at the perfect time and that cracks me up. Such as that time when Shadow is crouching and Conrad who is also crouched behind Shadow, shoots over his shoulder, I died laughing when Shadow said his trademark "That was close enough" line, with his matter-of-factly voice. It was so unexpected that made me laugh so hard, Usually he will say that when he gets shot at by the enemy, lol big grin.
