A syringe that the medic can use on the downed person, it will stop him from bleeding out for a limited amount of turns (it will buy some time to end a firefight so that the combat medic can treat the downed merc in safety)

Yeah this is a cool idea. Something like a hemostatic syringe that temporarily "bandages" a merc. The maximum amount "bandaged" to slow/stop the bleeding would have to be determined as it wouldn't make sense for a near death merc to be able to stop bleeding completely just by taking a drug (possibly modified by paramedic/doctor trait). From there it could be such that the "bandage" level wears off over time thus eventually returning the merc to their original bleeding level.
