hello guys, im playing UC with 1.13, and i have no idea whats the main quest or what the hell im supposed to do in the game, first i talk so some guy named camen who gives me a laptop and tells me to talk to a contact in sheraton, well ok so far i guess
before going to sheraton i recruited rosebud and captured the other atremo map, and found some chick named elhi that i recruited, other than her, i dont think there is anyone else to talk in that town, so i took the subway to sheraton
in the subway i got attacked by millions of thugs, but they were weak and baddly equipped so i just killed all of them (including 2 guys who came up to me to talk and extort me, also some other named guy called bruiser i think, that i couldnt talk since he was aggressive and i had to kill him)
when i come up to sheraton, there is a LOT of enemies already shooting me just for going there, so i killed a lot of them, the last one was hiding in the police station
now this is where it gets weird, i kill the last guy and them out of nowhere some guy called remington shows up and starts kicking and attacking me, saying something about kingpin, so after i kill him, the police officers turn hostile, and some guy named pin squad or something too, so after killing all of them i found this guy called Nicky which is dimitri with sunglasses, but i cant talk much with him and he just keeps ignoring me, after a while i found this file on my laptop that im supposed to kill him, so i did and got his head with the machete, what should i do with it? should i give it to that guy carmen? whre is he?
i found a note in some guy's corpse, not sure if it was remington or the pin squad, there was also a recording device, which mentions some guy named bruce in the description, i have no idea who this bruce is
also elhi says there is someone named Yanni that im supposed to talk or something, but i kept searching around and could not find her, the only other people i could talk to are these 2 prisioners about a plane crash or something, they ask me to escort them out of the country, i didnt do it yet because i dont want to get ahead in the game without understanding what is going on
so please could you guys clear up some things for me?
1) what should i do with this laptop? who the hell is and where is this agent X that im supposed to give the laptop and some list for?
2) there is a mine in sheraton, who am i supposed to talk to so i can profit from it? is there any other way to profit besides mines? (i saw i can staff factories with my mercs, but i dont get any profit for doing so) also is there anyway to profit from atremo? or is it like omerta? however i did manage to create militia for it though
3) those gang thugs in the subways dont give any quests or something do they? because im not going to pay anyone, id just rather kill all of those assholes
4) the option "enemies drop all items" does not seem to be working properly, at least for the subway thugs, a lot of times they die and they dont drop anything, not even the guns or knives they were using, is there any way to fix this?
5) is there any place i can use as storage? i keep finding guns and good equipment with the enemies that id like to save for future mercs, is there any place i can drop them like a container or something? or can i just drop them all in the same sector?
6) is the only thing im supposed to do in sheraton is just to escort these 2 survivors?
7) is there like a city path i should follow? should i go somewhere else instead of sheraton at first? im not sure if i should do these quests carmen gave me or if i should just go around capturing cities
so far i really like the improved mechanics, especially the ammo boxes, but not understaing anything about the story and who is who in this country is really making me not want to go further, if someone could clear up things for me i would really appreciate it
