I feel the need to play JA2 again, after more than two years break. After such a long time, I forgot quite a few things, and I want to ask you about what should I install, and what settings should I use?

I remember that the last time I played it, I used AIMNAS with an automated installer, and I enjoyed playing with it. I see that there is another SCI now here, but since its such a recent release, what settings should I use if I install it?

I'd suggest to start with plain 1.13 stable v4870 to revive some memories.
Maybe combined with mod "Arulco Revisited" if the normal maps are too familiar still.

Go becoming beta-testing guinea pig for recent unstable test version and/or WIP mods like AIMNAS or UC-1.13 after that. Smile

Any advice on what to turn off or on especially in the options? I remember there was a new targeting system that wasn't very popular.

Also, the new skills are safe to use? I saw that in the game start. And can I play with Sci Fi mode turned on?

In 4870 I prefer OCTH over NCTH - but don't get biased, so give it a try.
