This is my first post on this forum. I am a longtime fan of JA and I just wanted to join the celebration on getting JAF funded. Finally a new Jagged Alliance worthy of the name after waiting a decade and a half. I have to work tomorrow so I can't party tonight, but I will have a few drinks tomorrow night in celebration.

Well, what a ride it was guys!
Even i will go get me some cider and mead to drink that atrocious weather here sunny for me, knowing that i now again have something to look foward to in my dreary, joyless life!
You know what this Kickstarter reminded me of? A desperate financier for a just cause, struggling to scrape together barely enough basic funds, to hire a couple of independent professional contractors to send them on a mission to do the impossible.
He succeeds barely eventually, the small band of contractors heads off into the unknown with their limited resources, knowing only that the only thing they can rely on arrival, is the support of a band of ailing but determined locals, struggling desperately to keep alive a resistance movement and the remembrance of and hope for better times for their downtrodden people for a long, long time from their humble headquarters with minimal resources.
And their first priority after arrival, will be to secure a solid foothold and acquire additional funds and resources from the locals, to organize a combined effort and get their long march to the final target going...
Dunno why this feels so damn familiar. :dontknow2:
Anyways, i plan on involving myself into this process as closely as i can and scrape together all the funds i can manage for the slacker backer campaign, even if that means i

Still can't believe it happened.
Soo... do any of you know how hard I will need to bump my head against a wall to wake up from the coma in November 2014? 1.5 years of waiting for the game will turn me into a nervous, gibbering wreck.

I quite like RPS, although their social commentary blog posts can be annoyingly hipster and over the top sometimes... good writers when they focus on the games tho, I also like that they don't put arbitrary scores on their reviews...
I don't mind PC Gamer either

[quote=Lytinwheedle]Kaerar the JA:F campaign didn't really get the coverage it deserved.
There was a whole lot of that going around... At least they had something up about it
