Equipped my gunfighter with a TT Pistol Vest to carry a reserve pistol (FN Five-Seven) if anything would have to my main dual MP7 MP's. With equipping a pistol supressor cannot put it into the pistol slot. Is this on purprose? Cause it seems to work fine with a flash supressor on other hand.

Tell me again why one works and the other doesn't.

(couldn't find a 5-7 w/ FP, proportions are the same though)

Yeah, lol, had such a clue (the flash supressors what I have seen of rifles where a bit bigger) Guess I'm still a bit influenced by the realism of the vanilla JA2, where the same ammo was used for Type-85/AKM/Dragunov xD

Thanks anyways (for the pics too, now I really want to own a Five-Seven)

Who doesn't? They are awesome!

I have a little question about the flash suppressors in this game though, since I have been wiki-ing the things for general facts and I read that FS's are mostly made to retain night-vision for the shooter, rather than be invisible for your opposition.

What does the Flash Suppressor do in 1.13? Does it help the shooter in any way (preventing being blinded by a muzzle flash / retaining night sight)? Or is it purely made to have your gunshots be ''invisible'' to the mooks?

I personally never buy Flash hiders in JA2 purely because they seem to be completely inferior to actual sound suppressors, and they seem to have no real advantage to using no flash hiders to warrant me paying to get them. Since the moment you shoot, they know you are there regardless of the flash being hidden or not.

Of course I might be reading between the lines a bit too much, but for who knows. Are the Flash Hiders a big advantage to have?

Yes.
Guidelines for night combat:
Suppressor > flash suppressor > nothing. Flashes can trigger interrupts (fairly regularly as well), you don't want half a dozen blackshirts firing on the guy who just opened up with his MG. They may of course be redundant if your playstyle is based around full night kits with suppressed weapons anyway, but they are indispensable if you are running a general purpose setup and merely accept the occasional night fight as a burden.

Ah right, I didn't know about the interrupt stuff.

That being said, with my current team (Playing AFS) I can dominate an average map with 2-3 guys during day-time raids.

IMP with a ridiculously effective .22 AR7
Manuel with an ridiculously accurate X-30R
Igor with the uber-spray Colt Commando

It's insane how easy it is to dominate mooks with .22 and .30, most of the times Igor and the others don't even factor in most of the time.

Yepp, I also prefer silencer and put on a flash supressor only if you can put there nothing else and generally trying to avoid night combat, which seems much more difficult as in the vanilla JA2 it was.

Was a bit dissappointed that could not put a shotgun choke or at least a extender onto my CAWS, guess I will stick to my trusted Neostead instead. Got down even some blackshirts with 70-80 damage in a single (head)shot with my ranger specialized IMP.
