Two questions, the answers to both are equally important to me.
#1 Is it still possible to become a late backer for Flashback?

#2 Does Pay Pal allow major bank gift/debit cards as a linked method of payment (same as a major personal c.c.?) I'm referring to the type of gift cards that can be purchased at retail stores for about $5 and can be loaded for a max value of about $500

I'm interested in this, I want to up my backing level.

I have PayPal from a long time ago, and they don't have a bank account linked for me and all my PayPal purchases roll over to my linked CC which is the backup funding source. But I believe today you *need* a linked bank account to use PayPal, even if you plan to fund it another way (via CC, Green Dot, Visa gift card, etc.) I might be wrong so just try and see.
