 Senate and House voted to fund US govt. and raise the debt ceiling until the 1st month or so of 2014. Pres. Obama signed the bill.

Estimated cost of 16 day shutdown - 2 billion federal money, 26 billion US economy, unknown amount(as of this posting) World economy.

Looking forward to watching this happen again next year. :swordfight:

 What's a billion here and there when you get CNN to display a doomsday ticker? There was a good chance for a messy war in Syria, that went bust... you know them politicians need to be on TV to exist, otherwise the people would find out their lives can go on without them just fine...
