JA2 V1.12 How to make enemy always drop items?[message #333044]

Hi I'm wondering how to make enemies always drop their held items on JA2 GOLD vanilla is this possible?

I really like the V1.13 but I want to beat vanilla first with this small adjustment.

Is this possible? :confused:

Unfortunately, If I recall correctly, there was no "Drop All" feature for vanilla 1.12.

However, I heard there was some kind of addition to the 1.13 package that simulates vanilla 1.12 style? I can't recall it, unfortunately. Sorry; I'm not an expert, and I have not finished a vanilla 1.12 campaign yet, so I'm not good with directions.

Repeater1947 is right. You can run ini editor and select vanilla from the topmost dropdown menu

if somehow ini editor fails to run you can edit you ja2.ini
change this;

VFS_CONFIG_INI = vfs_config.JA2113.ini

VFS_CONFIG_INI = vfs_config.UC113.ini

then run the game normally. You will get all vanilla mechnaics like old items only, old mercs only, old inventory, 25 AP max etc. but you will get all the bugfixes and other non-game play features.
