One thing I found a bit sneaky with pre-Bigmaps AIMNAS is that you could find items in non-conventional places. Cardboard boxes will serve as a good example. Mousing over them won't give you an indication that there's something there. You'd need to ctrl+hover to find all of that stuff, making the hand turn red whenever you found something.

Maybe this can all be circumvented with some map editor shenanigans buuut I'd like the game to be a bit smarter when it comes to non-conventional containers. Basically what I want is for these containers to work just like lockers and such. Hover over, hand shows up to let you know you can interact.

Actually I think the other way would actually be better.

Mouse over with CTRL pressed, hand turns red if the container (and by that I mean traditional crates, cupboards, kitchen sinks, fridges, chests, etc. as well as packages and such) contains something. This could save a LOT of time looting sectors. You would know which containers wouldn't be a waste of time opening...

And maybe even add an additional twist for hard to spot / dug in items which can only be found with a metal detector active.
