I'm playing vanilla ja2 and I accidentally clicked "unescort" on robot and it has disappeared. Anyway to get it back? I tried going back to Madlab but he isn't giving me an option to make a new one. (The ja2 wiki mentions that he'll make a new one if the old one is destroyed, but in this case obviously it wasn't)

Another similar question while I'm at it: When you dismiss an npc you've recruited (Ira, for instance) are they gone for good or are they hiding out somewhere you can get them back?
