 I'm finding this a tough but enjoyable mod, but I've lost a lot of squad members along the way and now only have three mercs left. I've pushed on to Central Valdez to hopefully cash in some items and hire some new mercs but when I got there it seemed the townsfolk, including Betty and Tex were hostile to me. I had no choice but to kill em, and managed to get hold of the laptop transmitter, but I don't have a laptop. Is it futile for me to go on? as I suspect I'm not going to last with such a small team, even making use of hit and run tactics.

 Well I back-tracked and now have the laptop online via Betty. Seems making townsfolk or NPC's enemies can break that bit of interactivity in regard to getting the laptop and transmitter working.
