I'm playing JA 1.13.
According to what I've gathered by doing stuff in game and reading the tips when I QSQL, there are two ways to unjam a gun: repairing it, or firing it until it works.
Is there an option to simply CLEAN a gun? You know, so that it doesn't jam nearly as frequently? Guns at 60-80% durability seem to jam once every 3 shots. One of the tooltips implies that there is a setting that can be changed that allows a gun to be cleaned when it is repaired, which in turn implies that there is a way to clean a gun in the first place.
FFS, every, and I mean EVERY mercenary with a competent marksmanship skill is going to know how to do this. This is basic gun training, and yet I can't find a way to do it in-game.

1. Wrong thread.
2. Press Ctrl+dot to open sector actions menu.
3. Repair gun with option FULL_REPAIR_CLEANS_GUN = TRUE in ja2_options.ini
4. Disable dirt system DIRT_SYSTEM = FALSE
