Over the course of JA 2 1.13 development the gameplay becomes more complex and more realistic.

More realistic means that there are much more factors affecting all the events and actions, a lot of which a random (e.g. grenade throw, interrupts).

What i feel as i would like to have more discreet version of JA 2 1.13 where the outcomes are more predictable:
- you know where a grenade will fly
- you know that entering a room right away without a flashbang is a very bad idea (in current JA 2, you are quite likely to shoot first)
- there are no situations where there are 4 guys from my team aiming at the door, the bad guy opens it and manages to shoot them
- if enemy gets hit with a burst from MG he cant turn and shoot you back

(Overall the game would be kinda X:com or Frozen synapse style)

I wander if anyone ever had the same thoughts?

Well, thats what XCom is for...

The Idea is not bad but that is not what we love JA2 for, is it?

JA2 is by all means an RPG where statistics and luck are the way to go and anything you can hope to achieve(in normal gameplay atleast) is to even the odds as much as possible.

If you really want predictability than crank that ini imp settings up to 11 give make 10 of them with 100 in every stat and start them at exp 10 it wont get anymore predictable or easier as that.Maybe some changes to weapon effects and you would be good to go.

Cheers.
