Hi Everyone!

I'm having a little difficulty understanding some of the more advanced containers and pouches in the current build of 1.13

In particular, a lot of pouches and bags don't really operate in the way I think they would do. I have yet to find anything that can fit into a SG (shotgun) holster (I assumed it would fit sawed-offs), I rarely have a clue which pouches will attach to my modular vests and thigh-rigs until they arrive in the mail (and promptly get swiped by Pablo).

What do carabiners do? What's the difference between MOLEE and 3.11 modular pouches?


I've wasted quite a bit of money experimenting, and I have quite the pile of discarded and useless pouches that are useless to me.

Is there a guide explaining these items? It's a cool system and I've used it successfully a bit, but it's mostly a huge mystery to me.

1) MOLLE gear are FULLY customizable vests, leg pouches and combat packs. Switch to "show LBE gear" in the options menu, right click the vest/combat pack/leg rig in your inventory and apply the module you want in there... beware there's limited space and as of now the only mod I can remember using MOLLE stuff is AIMNAS and it makes the game laggy, there's an issue with how the game manages every MOLLE item slot and if you fully customize your mercs you will lag to death (you'll have the best customized mercs but lag will eat you).

2) I think modular pouches are the ones you can add to "normal vests", if I remember it right you can take a police/hunting vest and add a tactical belt to it to transform it into a tactical vest... I may be absolutely wrong on this merge in particular or overall.

3) Carabiners? as in the climbing thingy? I have not seen that yet :/ totally lost on that. Is that a mod thing? maybe for paradropping?

You can check all the merges if you open the XMLeditor and check the mergelist, as far as I know there's no guide yet.

You can use carabiners to attach certain items to them. For example you can store a gas mask or canteen there.

The early MOLLE items are not that good. The carriers for example don't provide much space to attach bigger pouches to them. Some of my mercs have a "Large Modular Thigh Rig" or a "TT Modular Vest" which I find quite useful.

Pouches can also provide additional camouflage of different flavors.
