Well, as AIM is something fictional we do not have to be realistic ...

Though the question is easy to answer: Just read the first page of the history section on the Ja Homepage (Ja2).

There's something like: It was founded so that everyone seeking justice, could hire mercs to achieve it.

And when looking at it's "game" history, those mercs were allways on the "good" side: Metavira (in order to secure the Fallowsap, to help ill people) Deadly Games (agains terrorists) Ja2 (against a dictator).

But again JD has a point I think, but luckily it's not real life, is it?

Apparently, A.I.M has diversified into the music business: Aimrock

The band is obviously from Denmark, unfortunately (?) the female singer does not seem to be related to Buns.

J - back to slacking

I suspect that justice would have to be their public MO. If they were known to be assassins or saboteurs then the governments of the world would be out to arrest them.

On the Jagged Alliance webpage the tagline is:

"FIGHT FOR FREEDOM. KILL FOR CASH."

So it's both i guess, depends on the mission.

Dang it I was having a custom A.I.M hat made, and I searched everywhere for a tagline, and couldn't find one!!!! Now that I ordered the hat (one says, "A.I.M" on the front, with the words "EST. 1991" on the back, the other says "A.I.M" on the front and "Association of
International Mercenaries" on the back), I find the perfect tagline... maybe I'll make a third one... hmmmmmmmm
