Hello!
First, sorry to be posting this here. I am not sure it belongs. To be honest, I looked at the dates people last posted on a subforum and chose based on that(clumsy, I know.)
I am looking to play another game similar to Underrail. I did recently go through Atom RPG, and enjoyed it quite a bit, but it does seem generally lite on combat mechanics. I don't think I'd would get a lot of replayability from that game. To give you an idea of what kind of a gamer I am - I have 300 hours in Underrail, 500 hours in Pillars of Eternity.
Jagged Alliance 2 was recommended on the Underrail forums, and the game has very good reviews on GoG(none on Steam, interestingly) so I started looking into it. Quite a lot of people point to mods being optimal to enjoy the game. Obviously I have no experience with neither the game, nor it's modding scene, but I am looking for a good game, nonetheless.
Can you, please, recommend a number of mods that don't alter the gameplay of the original JA2 too much, but rather improve things like stability, AI, weapon balance, bug fixes? Generally quality of life stuff.
