Hello

I have read that using 1.13 Mike should be hirable. I am using the latest SCI 8218 on Gamedir 2321 with Aimnas which requires 8163.
Ive encountered Mike and saved my game so in case I mess this up I can retry but no matter what I do he keeps answering "Youre the target and I dont miss" or something like that even though he IS in a critical state. My Merc is an IMP Merc with 91 Leadership.

I am sorry that I bring that topic up again but Ive searched and searched and nothing I found really helped me. angry

How to recruit Mike?
It doesn't matter if you have an AIM member and what you do in the initial dialogue with Mike. First you have to get him to around critical state, but not kill him. Now use the mouth icon to talk to him during combat. Choose recruit (you will need a merc with leadership skills >= 70). Mike will end combat and offer you his services for 10000$. If you decline he leaves for good, if you accept you get him as your merc.

Make sure that there's still other enemies in the sector, else it gets problematic. Mike can't be the last guy standing.

I just recruited him. not sure about mike being the last guy standing. in my game, i had all remaining enemies cuffed and he was the only active enemy remaining. after bringing him to a critical state, I talked to him and clicked recruit. he asked for a medic and then joined.

he asks for a whopping 10k a day. but dear lord, he is amazing.
