what makes you move faster (in tactical screen) i can not figure it out. it has nothing to do with your weight because i tested. it must have been sth to do with athletics skill but according to in game info athletics only reduce energy spent and APs, doesnt increase mov. speed.
so why does one of my merc with 93 agility runs like tumbrel?
she almost moves faster in crouch position than standing lol

Athletics does mention that it has a -25% AP cost and they are definitely able to get around very quickly as a result. One of my IMPs has it, as well as Manuel, and they are great at flanking and/or closing down on suppressed targets.
If you're noticing that your high agi merc is almost as fast crouching as when running, there's a good chance you are wearing a backpack. If you hit SHIFT-B at the start of the battle everyone will drop their backpacks which keeps them mobile and lets them also climb on rooftops and whatnot. Just remember to pick them back up again after!

Ahhhhhhhh if you're just talking about Real Time movement that is different for sure, and I'm not sure the exact reason, just that it is.
Manuel gets around super fast in my game and I think that stealth and athletics is likely the impact (The IMP I created has Machinegunner and Athletics). It's possible Survival might have an impact as Manuel also has that, but don't have anyone else with those mercs.

I have IMP(agi 90,athlete) , Grace, Brain, Scream, Ira, Dimitri in my Team and when I "Move all" them in Real Time, Grace is always the fastest of them all with agi ~77...they all have weight ~70%, all healthy. So Random. Always was.
