Hello, I have installed 9184-g2622, and it works. I copy the AIMNAS Core-Master files over it all while overwriting and I get errors as the game starts. They are:

6e-06] : The value [Covert Ops][COVERT_TURNCOATS_SECTOR_ACTIVATION_REQUIRES_RADIOOPERATOR] = "" in file [Skills_Settings.ini] is neither TRUE nor FALSE. The value FALSE will be used.

This error is "under" a:

RUNTIME ERROR

Not that I am any coder or techy guy but I think there are missing files, which I cannot find nor make work. Or, more probably, I am just utterly wrong and need help. Could I get some help please?

You need to update Aimnas from github, Filters.xml was fixed recently

As for missing ini options, it doesn't matter, default values will be used. You may add them manually if you don't like these messages.

Again, a sincere thank you. I first got the demo to JA2 in a PC Gamer magazine in high school. On CDs if you remember such things. Since buying it that summer I think I have played it through to the end every 5 years or so. Thank you for keeping it fun and updated for "old people" like myself.

Try redownloading aimnas from github. It's the problem with xml in mod, not the exe issue.

Checked the xml file and the added code from the fix is there, but still doesn't start.

Could you check what's the output in livelog.txt located in your AIMNAS game folder in Profiles\UserProfile_JA2113AIM ?

I am having the exact same error as Rath, the LiveLog.txt reads:

Any ideas? I have a fresh install of 7696/2531 that runs fine without AIMNAS.

I'm shocked you even got a legible error text with that old of a revision. LOBOT code was added to the game in revision 8755 and the filter criterion LEFT_WEAPON_TYPE that is on line 30 in filters.xml in revision 8943. As Seven mentioned, you need a newer version of 1.13

Hello, can someone please help me, because i have a similar runtime-error, but this time i'm using the latest versions of Ja2-1.13 and AIMNAS from github:

I've made some additions to lobot feature, which caused the filters.xml inside data-aim/tabledata/logicalbodytypes to be outdated. There's a pull request open for aimnas repository to bring it up-to-date but no one's merged it yet. You can get around the runtime error by deleting the file, which should allow you to play the game, though you'll lose aimnas specific gear graphics

If anyone is still interested, I updated the Filters.xml manually using the code from Asdow's pull request. Made a profile here specifically to post it and hope it helps until the pull request is finally merged.
