Legion 2:

Osarwia is a country plunged into chaos and disorder after the revolution and the overthrow of the government. No one would definitely want to go there, but there is one exception; The terrorist Karlos hid in this country after kidnapping the daughter of Oswald - one of the world's largest millionaires. For the release of the hostage, he demanded a huge ransom and threatened that if Oswald did not give him the money within 30 days, his daughter would die. Faced with such a threat, the multi-millionaire hires mercenaries whose goal is to go to Osarwia, find and free his daughter.

Legion 2 is a mod created by Polish modder Jazz. We know him from other projects: many programs facilitating the modification of games from the Jagged Alliance series, the 'Legion' mod for Unfinished Business and the unfinished 'Operation Needle'. Despite the name, the modification is not a continuation of the older project from 2005. Jazz himself explains this by saying that it is his second fully working mod.

The modification is based on Jagged Alliance 2 1.13, so it uses all the capabilities of this huge platform. Additionally, Legion 2 is compatible with add-ons such as DDB-Mod, 100AP and even multiplayer mode. However, the most important are the original innovations introduced by Jazz. In this respect, the Polish modification is very impressive compared to foreign ones: the game may be time-limited - if we do not find and release the millionaire's daughter within a certain time, the kidnappers will simply kill her. Our subordinates can now enter houses through broken windows and properly group the people they encounter during the mission. Our opponents are not only thugs and scum from Osarwi, but also combat robots with incredible accuracy. Osarwia itself is a completely different country than Arulco, both literally and figuratively. The cities are located completely differently and contain different elements, and we won't meet too many NPCs and RPCs known from Jagged Alliance 2. As the plot says, the country is in chaos, and that's the truth: we will encounter gang wars, and no one will be able to complete the task. he won't help us without a generous payment. The whole thing is complimented and at the same time slightly complicated by a system of random events - don't be surprised if at the very beginning the pilot doesn't drop your squad where he should.

Legion 2 was released simultaneously in three language versions: Polish,English and Russian prepared by the Translation Team. Unfortunately, the modification has not been fully completed and is still in the beta phase - so unexpected shortcomings and problems may appear during gameplay.

The modification is based on the official and stable JA2 1.13 (7609 build)

The modification is in the English language version, while other available versions are as follows:
1. Polish
2. German
3. Russian

Preferred base: JA2 1.05r PL or JA2 Gold 1.12 ENG
No additional files are needed. We unpack the modification and copy all files and folders in its main directory directly to the place where JA2 is installed. We launch the game using the "Starter Legion 2.exe" file and then select the appropriate settings in the newly opened window. In the second tab from the top, we choose whether the game is to be based on the 1.13 project ("+ Data-1.13") or on the classic JA2 ("+ Vanilla"). Finally, click on the run tab.
