The imp merc i recently made is Shiv (slang for a knife), with auto and throwing skill. Although he goes crazy a lot, i don't mind too much because he's a good killer (especially with Gus his gun, I believe a G41)

Yea, My dude's name is camo, because he's night ops and obviously camouflaged, I would like to state also that why am I a recruit, I played this game since it came out musta beaten it 50 times and the day ub came out I was on interplays website and bought it for $17.95. :walking:

I give my IMP dudez names such as (male) ; Hawk , Diego (black male) ; that sort of crappy namez... I always call my female mercs Jade ; don't know why but he that doesn't matter... as long as your IMP guyz new comforts you....

1st time thru used the name Mifune, as in Toshiro Mifune. I am a HUGE Kurosawa fan, and Mifune was in many of his flicks.

2nd time thru I am using Huxley, as in Aldous Huxley. The name sounds cool and the guys work was interesting enough.

I like the name 'Rain' for a female IMP. Reminds me of the girl in Resident Evil who has about the same personality as Buzz. Wink

I rarely make male IMP's lately, I like playing with women better (hmm, that sounds logical to me for some reason).

Other names: ConF (Confusion is too long :S), Blade and Cat (I've got that from one of my favourite war stories which can be found at the hall of fame here).

I always use Falcon for a female and Eagle for a male. And I always try to get night ops expert because then I can do only night attacks and that is so much easier than attacks in during the day. Very Happy

First of all, it's real nice to join y'all. I've been reading through the forum replies for quite a while and, as the JA fan as I am, couldn't help registering. Well, Here's my tax for this one.

I named my IMP Francesco Guillar (Guevara), and I call him Che.

Well, for those of you who are interested in something about Latin American history, Che Guevara was kind of the Trotski of the Cuban revolution. Too bad Cuba's like it is today... Such high ideals.... ( :bandit: Uncle Fidel! C'mon, stop bashing capitalists, quit smoking that cigar and do something!)

I just thought that Che would fit JA2 as a glove, heck, Cuba's all about Arulco man, like, fighting guerrilla style (which I love) to free some country from a cruel regime that oppresses people (Even though I could, I'm talking BEFORE Fidel got in, hehe). Oh yea...

(End of my rambling...)

Again, it's really nice to know there's ppl out there still playing and loving the game. JA's GOTTA live on. It's just a shame that a series of such caliber is still unknown to so many ppl. Now go, and spread the Word! Very Happy

Other than that, I like short, colorful names: Roach, Lizard, Caeser, Zombie, Lead-Butt, stuff like that.

As far as I remember my first IMP was called Ian Harper aka Harper. Other names were Edward T. Lawrence aka Lion, Ian McConaughey and other names aka Bones, Trapper, Cat, Whiskey, Bullit, Holiday, Doc or Predator. I forgot most of them, I think. My current IMP is called Moses McLeary (for no particular reason) aka Dozer ("Bull"dozer is too long). Hmm...and maybe I'll create a knifing-expert called Harry Goodnight aka Stinger.

First I used Skale or Nitro, then I used the other, then I used Eightball, and now (playing Deidranna Lives) I'm using Ironman.
First time I played I knew nothing about picking skills to get what I wanted and ended up with something like Auto Weapons and Ambidextrous, now I go with Night Ops expert every time. With UV goggles my favorite strategy is to go on night missions and use only him, the enemies never know what hit them.
