when my brother and I were playing JA1 once, we were clearing the final few sectors on the way to santino's base when we found a very strange item.

The item's name was "REV. AMMO".

It's description was as follows:

"Unused? Ammo? Bullets! Details to follow."; and it had the graphic of a box of shotgun shells. To put it simply, wtf?

Good question. Found it too. So...?

And years ago, one of my friends reported, he found something he called "modified Beretta". Not Beretta + Chunk of Steel, something different as I remember. But I may be wrong...

hrm.... does anyone have a editor for JA1 that lets you place any item into your inventory, like the one for JA:DG?

Maybe someone could go through all the items in JA1 and see what other wierd stuff they can turn up.

The expert on JA1 and JA:DG editing is Warren Forrest (W4st). He used to hang around these forums, however I'm not sure he still does.

Try sector four on day 33, you find 3 grenades in the boxes:

one of 106%
one of 105%
one of 104%

Cool

"modified Beretta" = Beretta + Chunk of Steel

2 of them can be found, and also a modified magnum .357

Sector 54 = 1 of the beretta's
Sector 53 = .357

Of course Speck T.Kline can screw a chunk-of-steel on almost any gun to make it modified.
