No offense intended, but asking folks to quit bitching ... is kinda like asking a storm to quit blowing wind and raining.
Obviously bitching and moaning about updates, translations or patches for games never accomplishes anything ... other than pissing off the creators, publishers, etc...
But, that's never stopped'em from trying. 
Though, I think most people here at "the Pit" realise that and are really more interested in just some type of regular communication. Even if it's no more than one or two short posts a month, stating that someone is still working on it.
Most here are use to and understand that mods are created by people who are basically doing this for free and their own pleasure. That they have jobs and families and are doing this during their spare time, which can vary from a few hrs a day or week, to 1-2 hrs every other month, when real life gets hectic.
But, it's also nearly impossible to contain their enthusiasm and impatience, when a game comes along that they want to play.
Reread some of the posts in this thread.
These people have taken the time to download and play a game that is in a foreign language, one that relies quite a bit on the player being able to understand the language to get the full gaming experience out of it. And they still love it, play it, and reccomend it to other players.
