Warning, possible SPOILER, for some.
Whassup with Bullock? I located said individual SE of An Loc. After I stiffed all the VC in the sector he gave me a recon report (which I have succesfully used for both its purposes  ). However, he also wanted escorting back to An Loc and so I took him-had to give the report to Ponder, anyway. But no effect when we get back there-he don't seem to recognise where he is, and if I release him (unescort) he just says "I thought you were gonna escort me to An Loc Base".
Is there something else I should be doing? Is the game a bit buggy here and the "escort" option has no real purpose-or perhaps he was only supposed to give me the report after I got him back to An Loc?
BTW much appreciation to Becoming X and Dr Quack for a great mod and patches :wave:
This my first post on here although I follow the forums pretty close. Have to say that, following the install instructions closely and using Quack's "preliminary" patch I have got the game to run fine-all quests/NPCs/basement levels/passwords are working without a hitch. Thought you'd like to know...
Don't really want to open all wounds but @ Quack, noticed your post re: Jona's unofficial SOG patch and your suggesting he signify it being unofficial-I sympathise, but also wonder whether he was entirely to blame-at least for the confusion. See, I used his patch (and it royally f***ed my game up-"easy" to extract SLF files, my arse) but got it from the JA Galaxy site, rather than from any link posted on here by Jona. I agree that what he did was out of order, :nono: but surely the JA Galaxy people were as least as much to blame by posting a link to the patch and making it look official without liasing with Becoming X (or you in his abscence)? Dunno, if this seems overly critical-it isn't meant to be. It's a suggestion of how other moders might stop the same thing happening. It must be a pain to see others interfere/take credit after making a mod-it certainly is a real pain to use their patches only to find they screw your game right up!!
Maybe in future modders should request that JA Galaxy post no patches to mods that aren't official without indicating that they aren't supported by the mod design team.

Thanks Vurt, though in the event I'd already used upmost An Loc heli and explored the resulting sector/completed mission-so Bullock didn't have anything new to tell me. But cheers, anyway.
