To use the radio to call in artillery support you must merge the artillery request with the radio. Then put the radio into the hand of the person who will be using it. It's heavy, so I have Bull carrying it.
Once you get ready to use it, you just right click your mouse and you get the red cross hairs. You can put the cross hairs any where on the screen and then you press the left just like to shoot a weapon.
It acts like a mortar, with set up and firing, but has a wicked sound to it, sorta like a jet rumble after the explosion.
I couldn't tell if the explosion is any greater than a mortar explosion though. And once you have fired it, it uses up the request. I only find three at Hannigan's.
It would have been good to have it at FB Judy.
