First off, sorry for all the questions but the read me didnt tell me anything.

What happens if I'm not able to retrieve the information Col. Innis requested? I accidentally saved over the mission. Pls. dont say restart...those VC vs US maps are too loooong to have to run through again.

IIRC, the payoff for that mission was essentially the silent carbine. To get to An Loc requires you to find Skyrider (I think).

If you really want, I suppose you might try using some editor like JAPE to modify your game and give you the documents(although I don't know if JAPE can modify a UB game....).

You only have silent .45 cal rifle from that mission. To get to An Loc, you have to find NVA An Loc Map, that has password to open G11.zip.

You need to retrieve a map which contains the password, its location is in one of the northeastern sectors of the southern map, J15 or something. I won't post the password here, but if you need to know it you can email me and I'll send it to you. The password allows you to extract the file that contains the new sectors you will be going to. No password, no access! :nono:

OK, finally got report for Col. Innis but all he gave back was a "Deed." I exchanged it with Lt. Stone then got an artillery authorization. What gives ?!?

I suppose different guys give you different stuff for that "deed".

I gave it to Chief and he gave me the silent carbine.

Incidentally, Lt. Stone *does* give you something great, but you have to give him something else...

Sigh, figured out that the G11 file is in the Mod folder :headbanger: However, typed it all sorts of ways (the closest to opening it was no caps but then it came up with "system not configured to properly view this file"). Do I need some other software to run it?

You need right password to open it, NVA An Loc Map gives it. Then unzip it into same folder .zip file is. Then start new game and you can go to sector G11 and take heli to An Loc.

Thx for all your timely help fellas.

Another question: In An Loc, any negative consequences to allowing bombs to explode? I keep getting nagging feeling - maybe carry-over from JA2 - that getting civs killed is bad.

*BTW, I'm doing night ops so can afford to keep VCs from pulling levers.

As long as your people are not around the blast and I'm not sure but the moans of the injured just might be some of the enemy Wink The town folk can show up as bad guys even after the last of the enemy is dead. This can be a problem cause you won't be able to use the inventory screen to collect your goodies. They are harmless but if you decide to kill them then your mercs will get depressed and good luck trying to hire any new ones for awhile :nono:
