Day 11 22:57hrs : After talking it over we have decided to leave Tex on guard up on the surface, while the rest of us go below to find this guy named Shady. We walk down the stairs into a room with a camera in the corner and a door along one wall. A switch of some kind, a poster, a couple of tack boards with messages and notes, as well as a large red button are all seen along the east wall. Since who ever is down here, obviously knows we are here, given the camera, Rude Dog goes up and tries the door. It opens and we are presented with an office lobby of sorts complete with a very attractive receptionist. When the Dog tries to talk with the young lady she just seems to ignore him. Doors lead both to the north and south of this lobby and no one protests us looking them over. The one to the south leads to the bathrooms and the door to the north is locked. Rosebud gets out his lock picks and sets to work opening the door. If this is the place to find this Shady, maybe this is some kind of test to keep out the novices. The north door opens easily to Rosebuds attempt and we walk north along the corridor. The corridor branches to the west, and doors are clearly seen at both the ends, as well as along the north corridor walls. Rosebud finds them all to be locked and asks which way we should go. The door at the end of the western corridor seems like a good starting point and the door yields easily to Rosebud

As I have stated many times, I play Ironman style of games almost all the time now. I have completed somewhere around 200 games of the JA series ( JADG, JA2, JA2UB, JA2DL, SOG69, JA2UC, etc ) over the years ( About 50 to 75 have been Ironman games ). That does not mean I have WON them all, far from it. I have lost quite a few due to very bad mistakes all of which I learn from. I try to keep to the NO reloads and only saving when I secure a sector or have to leave the game ( sleep / eat / go somewhere / etc. )even on JA2UC where the Ironman button has been removed. I have on occation left my computer on for two days or more on the map screen to avoid saving during a combat in a sector. This is the first time I have actually documented a play by play of a game so to speak. What I have written is almost exactly as it has happened. I do add in my own thoughts and comments of course. The action however is what transpires in game with no exclusions. I sometimes play Ironman with AIM, MERC, and Locals or any combination of the three. This is only my third Ironman of JA2UC using Locals only. The first I was killed off before I got the MOC list to Agent-X. Winning is fun but when you give it your best and still lose you really try harder the next time around. I will finish a game right down to the last man or woman. Having my IMP killed does not stop the game nor does the death of any other character. The mission is what matters.
Try it out sometime, it might just change the way you play.

Day 12 06:33hrs : All our movement of items has been completed. Betty Fong now has more things waiting for her, than she can afford to buy. Our new base camp has so many items ( 562 to be exact ) that we will have to place most of them in containers and secure them for later use. Hick breaks the equipment into groups, one for items to be sold off to a weapons dealer, such as handguns and low-grade ammo or ammo we have too much of. Another container is used for consumables, First-aid kits, Med-kits, Crepaboost, Crepagen, Camo-kits, etc. A third container is set up for guns and ammo we want to keep and will use. Yet another is set aside ( far away from the others ) for explosives, grenades of all types, gas cans, etc. We also make one for the storage of high-grade armor and upgrades, ALICE packs, night vision, gas masks, and so on that we may need later in the campaign. After all this sorting it is back to the hrs on, four hours off routine for training militia and doing repairs. With two more people in our group the work should go faster but since we have such a large area to defend it is not going to be fast, nor easy.
Day 12 08:00hrs : It seems that Bobby Ray

Day 15 20:24hrs : We have gathered up all the useful items. Hick and Rude Dog start training once more while Kelly and Rosebud are doing repair.
Day 15 21:45hrs : A very large contingent of enemy soldiers have amassed in the urban sector of G-7. The number of enemy is reported to be twenty-six. We do not intend to wait and see if they will attack or leave. We are going on the offensive now, while it is dark. We will strike like death in the night. We all gear up and put on camouflage and head out into the darkness.
Day 15 21:55hrs : We arrive and set up behind the restaurant among the trees. Rude Dog immediately spots a red shirt standing in line to get some food. He places two aimed shots into the soldier from his suppressed M4. The hollow points tear into the soldier, the second of which hits him in the shoulder doing massive damage ( 17, 62 damage & 11 point dexterity loss ) and kills him. No one has heard nor seen the soldier be killed and so we are undetected so far. Rude Dog, Hick, and Tex start to move to the west, while Rosebud, Kelly, and Spike head to the east. Before we move two paces, another red shirt enters the restaurant. The soldier moves up to investigate the body of his fallen comrade. Rude Dog aims and fires two rounds, only one of which lands on target ( 42 damage ). Hick can also see the soldier. She aims her Bizon, which is currently equipped with a suppressor, laser sight, and an Elcan scope. With the selector switch on semi-auto, she squeezes the trigger. The 9mm AP round hits the soldier in the chest. With a look of shock and amazement on his face he falls to the floor alongside his companion. Once again we remain undetected and begin to move as before.
Day 15 21:56hrs : Rosebud, Kelly and Spike just manage to get into position when they spot a soldier patrolling the street in front of them. Since none of them have a suppressed weapon they have to make an important decision. Should they allow the soldier to pass, remaining undetected, or should they press the attack, kill him, and raise the alarm. Spike calls over his communication headset and asks for Tex to exchange fire teams with him. Tex agrees and moves to the east, while Spike heads to the west. Rosebud and Kelly keep an eye on the soldier but do not fire. The soldier moves off into a building across the street from Rosebud and Kelly. Every one moves into positions hidden among the trees as Tex joins up with Rosebud and Kelly. On the other side of the restaurant Hick and Rude Dog are joined by Spike, as they spot a soldier hanging out in front of the building across the street from them. The decision is made to try and do this as quietly as possible. Kelly passes his Elcan equipped Bizon to Tex do to the range of the soldier. Tex swaps out the suppressor from one of his Agrams and hands the other back to Kelly. Tex, Rosebud and Kelly continue to swap equipment and set up their weapons. The soldiers do not appear to be all that active so we just wait for the best possible moment to take out both targets. The target across from Hick, gets up, scratches his back, and moves off into the darkness. Equipped now with a Bizon ( suppressor, Elcan, laser ), Tex has a very good shot at his target. A burst of fire erupts from the Bizon and the soldier is hit three times ( 42 damage ). Tex fires another burst ( 61 damage ) killing him in an onslaught of lead. Another soldier who, must have heard the rounds impacting the wall, or the window breaking comes running out from the darkness to the east. Tex is able to get off a single shot at this new threat ( 10 damage ) which brings the soldier to a stop. The soldier pulls out his radio ( we have been compromised ), calls for back-up and move in our direction. Kelly puts two rounds from his now suppressed Bizon, ( which he swapped out with the Agram, to Rosebud ) into the soldier ( 13, 21 damage ). Hick
