I cannot download UC map fixes and Dr. Quack's patch since this website is undergoing a major update. TRhe links are down. If there are alternative links, could someone please provide them?

Ok I sent the files. Dr Quack's patch is an .exe file, so I hope your email antivirus won't reject the email. Check your spam box if you didn't get anything.

. I have the 191 Mb main mod pack, but I am still needing all of the files you listed in your above post. I think the Quickfixes and the Map fixes. Might you, or anyone else that has access to them, be able to re-up them to the http://www.sendspace.com site ( or any alternative ) again, as they seem to have dissapeared. Thanks !

I really appreciate it. I can get started playing soon now, once I figure out which patches go. From the zip crc checksums, it looks like both the quickfix2 and the revised quickfix2 are the same files, so I may only need to install the latter file. The others look self explanatory, except for the FIXEXE.BAT . Looks like it maybe cleans up unused directories maybe ?

I think that the fixexe.bat was intended to allow you to start the game from the start menu. I think that the original one was broken and there was a ctd when trying to start from the start menu. It has been awhile and programming isn't my strong point. It l;ooks to me as if you got it running:) Hope you have fun with the game; I know that I had quite a few ejoyable hours, days, weeks, and months playing UC. Lots of bad guys & gals and combat intense sectors:)

I'm also looking for the map fix patch. I tried file planet to see if ghost157's upload had been posted but no luck. If anyone has the file it would be appreciated if it could be emailed to me or if it is posted elsewhere, a URl to download it... I've searched a lot for it to no avail.

I played the original JA, JA:DG, JA2 and JA2:UB when they first came out. Recently reinstalled JA2 and UB and played them through. Then I found the UC mod and so far its a blast. Some lock ups but nothing drastic. I'm going to try it in Win95 compatability mode and see if that helps... In the meantime, the map fix would be appreciated...

I uploaded the SciFi patch to Fileplanet and this is the link:

The Claudia fix is in the fixed maps as I recall. If you can't get the fixed maps, you can go in through the ProEdit and changed her faction to neutral. She will no longer then be aligned to Tony and some others. Being netural, if you beat her up, no one cares. You will need to start a new game for the ProEdit changes to take effect.

Some of the more programming intelligent people on this forum may have a way around that.

As I remember, you don't need to restart with the fixed maps.

Enjoy the Mod, I sure had loads of fun with it:)
