yeah how do i use it?
where am i supposed to wear it?

in the description it says it can hold all kindsa stuff,i cant put anything in it

same with the striker vest...

help

eh... i did put it in my inventory

it cant take canteens,only grenades(cant take more 1 of anny kind) wire cutter and not much else

+it takes big inventory slot so i mean..

how is that helping?
i can carry 4 grenades in one of those slots anyway

cant put ammo in it neither

put an empty sawed off in, and take it out fully loaded. 12 bs shells out of nowhere!

but really, you can put lockpicks, 1srt aid kits, the laptop and don't forget it can hold four different types of grenades in one slot. that might be useful too.

Jawz,
The backpack has a capacity limit, so it's a better idea to squeeze small singular items into it. Eg I stuff my wirecutter, locksmith kit, etc into it. Frees up space in my pockets for other stuff like grenades and breaklights.

I rarely use canteens, btw Razz

I use it for grenades, knives, the laptop, commando patches - I've got a bunch, but no Spectra yet - explosives, and night vision goggles/sun glasses/gas masks - you can wear one of the three, and put the other two in the ALICE pack.

Why not design the alice backpack can carry plural small items in one of those slots??

Please realise this is a mod. It looks like a sequel, but we had to work with the current .exe and so on. That means the new items are combinations of the old items, invented by ramfall and Dvornik. If they couldn't make that backpack larger it means it cannot be done without crashing the game. It's not like they had the source code and decided "let's make the ALICE very small".

We hope that JA2UC has inspired people to mod JA2 even further. And probably one of those new teams will bring you a larger backpack. :whoknows:

no its actually pretty usefull,it can take 1 molotov cocktail(they take 1 whole smal slot)

plus i took the advise i got here,instead o puttin nades in em i stuff my gas mask,bandaid other crap

frees up alotta space,those smal slots can take at least 2 nades

basicly it converts 1 big slot into 4 smal slots(for certain items) usually they r worth 2 small ones

the reason i started this thread was i though maybe they could be attached to armor or maybe worn instead of armor or sumthin like that

i believe the actual use for the backpack as discovered by me is to carry the porn into combat. i dont think my man tex can hita da range without some porn ina tha saddulbags. rightuh padna?

All you have to do is put your cursor over the ALICE in your inventory and anything that can be put in it will be highlighted.

I find the alice quite handy fo keep the stuff I don't need during the actual fights like lockpick, wire cutters, one lock explosive and my sunglasses/nvg depending on the time of the day.

On the other hand, pay attention that it takes 5 ap's to get something out of that bag so you'd better avoid to store in there the grenades that you might need urgently.

Great for storing cutters, gas mask, NVG, sunglass, a combat knife for stealth use, armor upgrades until you get the specific armor needed, and pretty much anything that takes one slot.

I wouldn't bother with grenades in the ALICE for the AP draw, and can't stack multiples in the pack.
