I don't remember seeing him on the AIM list.

Rosebud is not apart of AIM.

Hes found at Atremo, the sector you start in, hes in the cargo building, just open the garage door and youll see him.

 Around 85 mechanic but only 61 marksmanship and low sixties for wisdom so don't expect him to improve.
Definitely REMF, sitting at the airport fixing the loot your other mercs bring back for him.
I am sure there are fellow ja fanatics that may be able to employ his awesome hand-to-hand combat skills to use in a battle but I just don't have the patience.

 Hey don't knock Rosebud. I've been using him all along on my A-team, and now he is a killing machine. I've got his markmanship up +30 and he is my main repair guy.

 Low wisdom or nop, Rosebud improves great, just take him solo on a couple night ops missions.

He took a couple sectors on his own with a bizon and he's now 85 marksmanship and lvl 5. What locks he can't pick, he can usually open with a crowbar with his 99 STR.

He's not on my a-team anymore, but he's definitely a contributing member of my b-team.

My a-team takes crucial sectors, my b-team makes sure I've visited every sector and my c-team trains, schlubs and does mopups.

Rosebud's wisdom isn't at the low sixties. It's 69. Ok, he's stats are:
HEA: 99
AGI: 66
DEX: 68
STR: 99
LDR: 1
WIS: 69
MRK: 61
MEC: 85
EXP: 1
MED: 1
LVL: 2

He's a great lockbreaker and he's fun and an excellent mechanic. You mustn't miss him! And new RPC's are always nice...

His hand-to-hand expertise is very useful in the early game, if you have patience, like you said.

If you use him consistently from day 1, in every battle, his stats improve tremendously. I'm on day 29 now, and his mrk is 82 and mec 93. Give him a rifle with laser and scope and he's a really good shot.

 He reminds me of Steroid, standing tall and shooting a rifle one-handed and he has made killing shots more often then I would have expected from someone who's marksmanship rating is so low. Very Happy

I use him in tandem with Nails. If Nails can't pick the lock, Rosebud, with a crowbar (and 99 strength), will usually do the trick. Usually! Otherwise I have to use a shaped charge! Smile

 69 wisdom isn't low. Also, early on, give him a crow bar and try to steal weapons. You'll find the going much easier.
