Well I got the Burp-Gun (the PPSh-41)from a biker in the same sector where you find Rude Dog (Calisto if I remember correctly).

The drum magazine and the abundance of that type of ammo means that you'll have ammo for a LONG time.

The Bizon is another cool gun (a 66 round mag, what't not to like?) :grimreaper:

Nah, I know about the PPSh-41 and it's cool and all but it has very shitty damage and later on its almost useless. I ment weapons that Ltd_Hans mentioned before like H&K XM8, G36 etc.

I like the PPSh-41 (in game)... Pretty nice weapon even until the end of the game.

Plus burst fire is absolutely cool.

But onto my earlier question that Maxz also ask: how do we get those weapons mentioned earlier (G36, XM8, ect)?

only the images are included in UC - so to get them working in your game you'll have to edit MyWeapons.txt yourself.

MyWeapons.txt has incorrect damage and range modifiers for every weapon and I'm not sure all other stuff is ok there, like attachements, ammo, rpg-s, etc... If I put the g36 into the game I'll mes the stats for good... Are there any other ways???

MyWeapons.txt is created by a fanmade tool called W4st's Weapon Editor v2.4. With it, you're able to extract the weapons' stats out of ja2.exe or JA2_UC.exe.
Download it there:

After that, follow the readme's instructions.
To extract UC's data, you need to rewrite the "Get Info from JA2.bat". Change the suffix to *.txt and then change the line

ja2wedit JA2_UC.exe MyWeapons.txt make

Save and change the suffix to *.bat again and start the file to get a MyWeapons.txt written.

But I have one question concerning the repair value: Does a high number mean 'hard to repair', or vice versa? Same for durability loss.

At first, sorry for the late answer - haven't been on the boards for some days.

Good point, I gonna put it in the legend.
A smaller number means that the item is harder to repair or has a worse durability. So, negative numbers are bad and positive ones good.

in my game AN-94 Abakan stats are Draw-2 BurstP-1, on your list it is Draw-1 BurstP-0. Ather people aslo have 2,1, donno if all of them.

There is a septarate topic on that abakan stats, that as i believe have changed in my game (have been different shortly after install), but its best if ramfall sayz what the correct values should be.

Well, the correct numbers are draw cost 2 (which makes it comparable to a carbine, illustrating it's folding stock) and burstpenalty of 1, which illustrates that the G11 has a higher rof than the Abakan.

So, the intended stats where cost 2 and burstpenalty 1. And to explain the workprocess, the weapondescription was updated latter in the process than the actual ingamestats (to have a backup - knowing which the original stats where when testing them in the game), and in this specific case the weapondescription never was updated.

It seems you have a litle problem with your armar list. On my PC it seemed like Spectra Helmet and Ghillie hood was written on the same line so I could not read the right statistics.
Maybe a prob with my PC, correct me if I'm wrong.

I just checked with my tailor, a commercial ghillie (complete) is between $300 (Bushrag(R)) and $390 (Chameleon(R)), and you can find more basic ones for less.

The prices shown in the lists indicate the prices at Bobby Ray's, not the ones in reality. This should explain everything Wink

I don't know why the price is as high ingame as it is. Maybe due to the game balance. :confused:

IMHO it's a typo, a bouncing keybord key or something, especially since the Ghillie doesn't give any stealth bonus. It's nearly useless.

The ghilliesuit was one of the things that never made it all the way. The work on it continued right untill the end, hoping to find a way to impliment a camo bonus for it, but it never was realised.

Well, the version that was included in the game is not just a ghilliesuit - it has extra protection underneath (kevlar). But anyway, I understand the critisism and think it's juste.

As for the Ghillie vest, it's not that useless, but only if you use Shadow in the first days. The Ghillie Hat has the stats of the Spectra helmet, the Gillie Suit Pants are a better armor than the Kevlar pants and the Ghillie Suit Vest stats are very close to those of a Spectra Vest. So it's a good armor for the first days, at least untill Port Kip is cleared. But if you find it later in the game, yeap, I think it's useless all right.

one way to give the Ghillie Suit a camo bonus is to make it replace the "Camo Kit"; ie it's "camo" not "armor". But then the people who ought to be using it (Shadow, Cobra), won't need it.
The best thing about it's current stats is that it takes no time to repair - just combine two of them. The worst thing is that they're pretty rare. Has anyone found a vendor who sells them? I have resorted to modding MyWeapons so that Bobby Ray's stocks them.

Hi, I am new here I recently downloade UC and saw G36/k, XM8 pics are in the game but the guns themselvs not. Well I did as Ltd_Hans sugested but ran into few problems. 1) editor needs the pics files nr, but I dont know their correct nr. 2) description I dont know much about XM8 so n idea about its stats. 3) on wich line should they be in excel?

Quick question. For some reason, I cannot seem to be able to change the burst rates/costs on the AN-94 and M16A2. I can change other stats on them, but, doesn't matter if I use JA2IE or Ja2Wedit, I can't change the burst rates. ANy ideas?

quick answer. It's hardcoded. The AN-94 uses the place where the G11 was placed earlier. I forgot weather did something to the M16A2... Is the difference between the M16A2:s burstcost and regular AP cost 1AP? If so, then it's because of it's three round burst, and is hardcoded.

You're right. The G11s burst rate is hardcoded. Crap. I'm going to have to be careful about what I place in it's slot because none of the weapons I'm working with have nearly as favorable auto fire characteristics as a G11.
Thanx Hayashi.

I was wondering if the G11 has an integral silencer or is that just how they made it sound? It's not likely since the round it uses is hypersonic and therefore unsilencable in the traditional sense. But I'm not asking about real life, only how the weapon preforms in the game.

I was playing around with the refilling and found some things I didn't know so I thought I'd tell you.

For the item combinations list, refilling and merging section, these items can be merged like med kits and first aid kits.

- tool boxes (I'm sure you knew that)
- canteens
- camo kits
- gas cans
- crepagen healing shots! (dosen't work with crepaton or crepaboost)

My guys always have 100% healing shots now
