Day 1, 10:34 h.

My mercs have killed all bad guys and police in the airport, B13 seems almost secured.
Now, my party goes to B14. I entered this sector from SW, and all the mercs start running towards the big building and hided behind the wall 1st turn. Second turn everybody climbed up to get covered from bad guys inside.
My IMP with the PPSh moved stealthy to snipe the area behind the two trucks. She killed 9 bad guys, and climbed down to find the 10th.
Now is when the nightmare begins. Lots of people dressed in brown starts to surround my IMP (maybe, they had in mind to ask my IMP for an autograph -after seeing the sniping lessons- or maybe there's a kind of worshipping...)
Well, now, almost 13 brown-dressed people surrounds my IMP... they are crouched and looking to her... they refuse to move and they seem to do some kind of prayer...
Maybe this sector is populated with very religious people that think I'm a Godess reincarnation...
:placard:

I must kill them all?
Can I recruit them?
:placard:

Good luck.
Tin.

I'm sorry Spermi... that's over. And I forget to take any screenshot. But I would repeat same tactic ASAP. And next time I will get it.

I founded the 10th bad guy with Rude Dog and killed him. As soon as he shooted the bad guy, all of my worshippers leaved my IMP alone to go to see his new idol... It seems that they love high level noises...

But I think maybe I will return to this sector to kill the brown-dressed people. Perharps they are some kind of army that must be eliminated, like the blue corrupt police? Anybody knows that?

Bye.
Tin.

Well, Uninen, I called it snipe but I mean shoot from upside the roof... this is not exactly snipe, but works wonders to boost marksmanship.
I'm sure you know that marksmanship improves faster when you shoot near your weapon limits...

Bye.

Is it me or does the PPsh rock. I mean it is like a FN-FAL with a huge mag. Bull uses it and just mows down guys. At long ranges too!

Might need to tone it down in the next mod though.

I find the whole civilians grouping around your mercs thing quite useful at some times, while I was taking Port Kip they must have taken about half of the incoming fire on my IMP, it's rare, but they do sometimes completely surround you, preventing movement.

I believe this behavior is caused by AI for the civilian sending him to investigate the noise, but not responding violently to your merc.So they all just run to him to check him out. It was REALLY bad with the gun runners in DL. It got so bad I just had to play at night and kill everyone.

I think you're right, HexRei.
For the next mod, maybe is more useful than a grenade a poliphonic cellular phone, a noise generator, a clown toy with two drums or an automatic sniper trumpet...

LOL

You do know that you can switch positions with mercs and civilians using the "x" command, don't you? When you have an active merc next to another merc or civilian, move the cursor over the person with whom you want to switch places, then press "x" Presto! No longer trapped.

Thanks Kia, but I know this feature.
The problem is the message that sometimes appears when you try to switch positions... "They don't want to move"...
